Switzerland's Amelie Reymond claimed her third consecutive International Ski Federation (FIS) Telemark World Cup victory after winning the women's sprint event in Pra Loup. 

Reymond had already triumphed at the French resort yesterday in the classic race, winning the sprint today in 2min 5.31sec. 

Her compatriot Beatrice Zimmerman finished in second with a time of 2:11.72. 

Completing the podium was Jasmin Taylor of Great Britain, who recorded a time of 2:13.07.

Reymond's victory sees her extend her lead in the overall World Cup standings, with the Swiss skier now on 560 points.

Taylor sits in second with 420 points, while Argeline Tan Bouquet of France is in third on 360 points.

In the men's sprint, Switzerland's Bastien Dayer beat yesterday's winner and compatriot Stefan Matter to the gold, recording a time of 1:51.99 to do so.

Matter finished in 1:53.67, with another Swiss skier, Nicolas Michel, coming third in 1:53.89.

Despite the victory evading Matter, he still leads the World Cup standings with 450 points.

Norway's Trym Nygaard Loeken is just behind on 441, while Dayer is in third with 366 points.

The World Cup event in Pra Loup is concluding tomorrow with the parallel sprint event.
