Estonia comfortably saw of Thailand at the International Floorball Federation (IFF) Men’s World Championships in Prague today to solidify their place at the top of Group C.

The Estonians, already with two wins from their first two matches, triumphed again today 11-4 at the Arena Sparta to ensure they finish the group stage unbeaten.

It means they finish the group four points ahead of Australia in second place, who also won today, 4-2 against Poland at the same venue.

In the day’s other top table clash, Sweden moved ahead of Norway in Group B, with a 9-1 thumping of their rivals at the O2 Arena.

With one round of matches still to come in that group, Sweden, second before today’s match, now sit top with four points, while Norway have dropped down to third in two.

Finland have also jumped ahead of them on goal difference thanks to a 7-1 victory over Denmark at the O2 Arena. 

In the day’s only match in Group A, Germany gained their first win of the competition with a 6-4 victory over Latvia.

Both sides now have one win from three matches, though Germany still sit bottom of the table due to their inferior goal difference.

Meanwhile in Group D Singapore beat Japan 9-5 to move into second place behind Slovakia, with one win from two.
