Latvia recorded their Group A victory at the O2 Arena in the Czech capital.

The remaining group game was a resounding win for Switzerland as they beat Germany 13-1. 

In Group B, Norway defeated Denmark 9-3 in a Scandinavian derby at the same venue. 

At the Arena Sparta, the Group D fixtures saw Slovakia thrash Japan 15-1 and Canada and Singapore battle it out in a 4-4 draw. 

Estonia then won against Poland 4-3.

Tomorrow's action will see six games take place, including the last group match for Latvia and Germany.
