Riding Lordan, Nassar succeeded for the third time in all at the North American League West Sub League event.

They triumphed after a five-rider jump-off in the United States, going clear again in the quickest time of 43.89sec.

"I'm just thrilled with my horse and thrilled to be sitting here again," he said.

Eve Jobs of the host nation came second with Venue d'Fees, clocking 43.97 after going double clear.

Lisa Carlsen of Canada won bronze with Parette, going round in 41.50 but collecting four penalties.

Elsewhere, McLain Ward won the East Sub League World Cup event in Canadian city Toronto.

On board HH Gigi's Girl, he also won a five-rider jump-off as he was timed at 32.42 after his second clear round.

All of the top three went double clear, with US rider Devin Ryan and Eddie Blue timed at 33.88 for second.

Canada's Ali Ramsay was third on home soil with Hermelien van de Hooghoeve, stopping the watches at 34.62.

"This summer, things started to get more consistent, and she jumped some clear rounds in some very key moments," Ward said. 

"She really turned the corner, and I feel she has a really exciting future."

All of the World Cup events around the globe are qualifiers for the World Cup Final in Swedish city Gothenburg in April.

Eve Jobs of the US leads the West Sub League standings on 48 points with her compatriot Molly Ashe Cawley leading the East table on 55.
