Hosts Australia dominated the first day of the Oceania Track Cycling Championships, winning eight out of 10 available gold medals in Adelaide.

Ashlee Ankudinoff was the star of the show at the Super-Drome, winning a pair of titles in the points race and team pursuit.

"I backed up pretty well obviously, I am walking away with a gold medal, so I couldn't be happier," said Ankudinoff after she won her second gold in the points race.

"I had good legs out there and I just wanted to continue the moment from the team pursuit."
