Tove Alexandersson secured her third win of the weekend as she anchored the Swedish women to a comfortable relay triumph on the final day of the Orienteering World Cup in Østfold in Norway.

Alexandersson, who enjoyed individual success in the pursuit and long distance events, led home the Swedish team as they finished in a total time of 1hr 52min 55sec.

The Swedish trio, which also featured Lina Strand and Karolin Ohlsson, finished nearly three minutes ahead of Norway in second.

The bronze medal was claimed by Finland.

"I am looking forward to a year of preparations for the next World Championships," said Alexandersson.

"I will do all I can to be able to perform as good as possible in August next year."

Norway claimed a home win in the men's relay as Eskil Kinneberg, Olav Lundanes and Magne Daehli denied Sweden a clean sweep of the gold medals on offer.

The Norwegian trio completed the course in 1:54:12, just three seconds in front of Sweden's Albin Ridefelt, Gustav Bergman and William Lind.

Sweden's second team came through to take third but only one squad per nation counts, which saw the Czech Republic clinch bronze.
