The Jordan Olympic Committee (JOC) has announced a partnership with a noodle company, the Tasali Jordanian Trading Institute.
Both parties signed a sponsorship agreement at the country's Olympic Preparation Centre.
Secretary general Nasser Majali penned documents on behalf of the JOC while chief executive Ihab Al Shorafa represented Tasali Jordanian Trading Institute.
Majali expressed his pride at welcoming "another big company" to the JOC fold.
He claimed that working closely with the private sector was key to boosting sport in the country.
The firm also sponsor the Olympic Council of Asia and back this year's Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang.
"As a company, it is our mission to keep supporting youth in Jordan and to encourage them to achieve more," Al Shorafa added.
"This agreement with the JOC shows that we stand behind our young athletes who represent us worldwide."
Taekwondo player Ahmad Abu Ghaush won Jordan's first-ever Olympic medal when he struck gold at Rio 2016.
He triumphed in the men's taekwondo 68 kilograms division.
