The Bahamas Olympic Committee (BOC) hopes it can pursue stronger marketing strategies that will deliver more value to its sponsors after attending an Olympic Marketing Seminar.

Clarence Rolle, a vice-president of the BOC, attended the Olympic Marketing Seminar in Samorin in Slovakia.

The Seminar, organised by the IOC's Television and Marketing Services, was designed to update National Olympic Committees on new stronger marketing strategies to help them recruit more corporate partners.

"The course was invaluable in explaining how we can work with businesses within our borders for the good of our athletes and the public," Rolle told the Bahamas Weekly

"We depend on partners to help get our athletes to multi-sport games, and the tools we received in Slovakia will ensure that those partners get the best possible benefit from working with us."
