Hosts Canada made it two victories from as many games as the Junior Men's Softball World Championship continued in Prince Albert.

The home side are top of Group B after their 6-1 success over Czech Republic at the Prime Ministers' Park Field.

Riley Manion pitched a no hitter during the clash and struck out 15 Czech players during a superb performance from the mound.

New Zealand also have two victories from two in Group B after their 11-1 win over United States today.

Elsewhere in the group, Guatemala beat Hong Kong 5-1.

In Group A, defending champions Japan, Australia and Mexico all boast 100 per cent records from their two matches.

Australia eased past Argentina 7-2 to top the pile while Japan continued their defence in positive fashion with a 16-0 thrashing of Denmark.

Mexico saw off India 1-0.

Day three of the competition will take place tomorrow.

Six days of preliminary-round games will be followed by two days of play-offs and placement rounds before medal matches on July 15.
