Spanish municipality Santa Susanna is getting ready to host the European Bodybuilding and Fitness Championships at the Florida Park Hotel.

The event is due begin tomorrow with an EBFF Congress taking place in the morning before the junior athletes take to the stage for the classic bodybuilding competition.

The male athletes will be on the stage until the end of the day competing in a variety of classic bodybuilding competitions with the finals scheduled to take place the following day (May 4).

The second day of the event will also see the women compete in various fitness categories along with wheelchair bodybuilders.

Day three, the penultimate day of the event, will see the finals of various men's and women's junior take place before the final day of competition, which will see women’s bikini fitness athletes take to the stage.

More than 40 European IFBB affiliated Federations are set to send athletes to the event.
