Ukraine added two more golds on day three of the World Shooting Para Grand Prix in Szczecin

Ukraine brought their total of gold medals to six at the World Shooting Para Grand Prix in the the Polish city of Szczecin as their competitors earned two more titles.

The first Ukraine gold of the day came in the 10 metres FTR2 falling targets rifle SH2.

Vasyl Kovalchuk earned victory ahead of compatriot Vitali Plakushchyi and home shooter Pitor Kacalski, who finished one place above his female compatriot Gorna Miroslawa.

The second Ukraine gold came in the R1 10m air rifle standing men SH1, where Andrii Doroshenko totalled 249.1, eight points more than compatriot Yurii Stoiev,  winner of the gold medal on the opening day in R3 10m air rifle prone mixed SH1.

Oleksandr Denysenko completed a Ukraine clean sweep with 214.6 points. 

in the P1 10m air pistol men SH1, Server Ibragimov scored 237.4 to finish ahead of Uzbekistan compatriot Aziz Ibragimov, who totalled 235.9.

Ukraine’s Oleksil Denysiuk took third place with 215.3 points ahead of home shooter Szymon Sowinski, who scored 194.9.

The competition, the athletes' last chance to qualify for next month's World Championships in Cheongju in South Korea, is due to conclude tomorrow with titles to be decided in the P5 10m air pistol standard SH1 and R5 air rifle prone mixed SH2 categories.
