A review of Oman's hosting of the Olympic Solidarity/Olympic Council of Asia Regional Forum in 2017 was also on the agenda.

Oman has never competed at the Winter Olympics so did not send any athletes to Pyeongchang 2018 last month.

The country is also still awaiting their first Summer Olympic medal.

They have competed at every edition since Los Angeles 1984 and sent a team of four to Rio 2016 - two sprinters and two shooters.
