The Oman Olympic Committee (OOC) held its General Assembly under the leadership of chairman Sheikh Khalid bin Mohammed Al Zubair.
Sheikh Khalid, a member of the International Olympic Committee, presided over discussions on key issues in Omani sport.
This included annual reports and the country's participation at this year's Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang in Indonesia.
Olympic Day events in the country were also discussed as well as events which will take place during the remainder of this year, such as Masters Degree programmes of study and international training courses.
A review of Oman's hosting of the Olympic Solidarity/Olympic Council of Asia Regional Forum in 2017 was also on the agenda.
Oman has never competed at the Winter Olympics so did not send any athletes to Pyeongchang 2018 last month.
The country is also still awaiting their first Summer Olympic medal.
They have competed at every edition since Los Angeles 1984 and sent a team of four to Rio 2016 - two sprinters and two shooters.
