His CV this term also includes the Four Hills Tournament and Raw Air titles and he was again unbeatable today on the ski flying hill at the Slovenian venue.

Stoch jumped 245 metres and 234m for a winning tally of 455.9 points.

It meant Norway's Johann Andre Forfang, who topped qualification yesterday, had to make do with silver as he jumped 242m and 234.5m for a score of 452.2.

Stefan Kraft of Austria was third, jumping 238m and 234.5m and ending on 443.0.

A team event will be held in Planica tomorrow before the men's season concludes with another individual competition on Sunday (March 25).

There was also a predictable winner on the women's World Cup circuit as Norway's Maren Lundby topped qualification at their season-ending event in Oberstdorf in Germany.

The Pyeongchang 2018 champion has, like Stoch, already sealed overall World Cup glory and was the best jumper today as she recorded a distance of 87.9m for 125.2 points.

Forty women have qualified for two individual finals which will take place over the next two days.

Japan's Sara Takanashi was second best today, leaping 86.6m for 123.9 points.

Austrian Daniela Iraschko-Stolz was given the third best score of 120.6 for her jump of 87.1m.
