The Rwanda Taekwondo Federation are set to send 20 athletes to two continental competitions this month.

A 14 member squad is poised to head to the African Taekwondo Championship in the Moroccan city Agidir.

The team will be headed by Benoit Kayitare, with Savio Nizeyimana, Vincent Munyakazi, Moussa Twizeymana and Delphine Uwababyeyi also selected.

Raissa Umurerwa, Aline Ndacyayisenga and Benise Uwase complete the squad.

The team was announced by the national federation's president Placide Bagabo, according to New Times.

The team are expected to leave Rwanda on March 24, with competition beginning in Morocco four days later.

Rwanda will be hoping to improve on the haul from the 2016 Championships, which took place in Egypt.
