Host nation Estonia also had a good weekend with three silver medals to their name, helping them finish third in the medals table.

Away from the sport, the 2018 FISU World University Ski Orienteering Championship at the Haanja Ski Centre also featured a cultural day, which saw the local Organising Committee showcase the region's attractions with an organised hike around Tartu, the home of the National University of Estonia.

At the conclusion of the competitive action, Estonian Academic Sports Federation President Ants Veetõusme and FISU Executive Committee member Fernando Parente thanked the participants and local authorities for their contributions to the event.
