Russia won both the men's and women's junior 10 metre team air pistol events at the European Shooting Championships in the Hungarian city Györ.

Anton Aristarkhov, Alexander Petrov and Alexander Kondrashin thrashed Ukraine's Maksym Horodynets, Bohdan Kyrylenko and Dmytro Honta by 22.0 points to 8.0 to ensure Russia defended their men's junior 10m air pistol title at the Audi Aréna.

The bronze medal match was far closer with Germany squeezing past Belarus by a 22-20 scoreline.

Russian domination continued in the women's junior 10m air pistol contest as Iana Enina, Ekaterina Chikanova and Olga Veretelnikova saw off competition from Italian trio Giulia Campostrini, Maria Varricchio and Brigida Margherita Veccaro thanks to a 22-10 win.

There was no bronze medal match for the women as Russia had been put straight through to the final after their excellent quarter-final performance, meaning Italy's semi-final opponents Ukraine completed the podium line-up.
