The Polish city of Krakow has been selected to host the International Blind Sports Federation (IBSA) Blind Football Euro Challenge Cup at Tyniecka NWP in May 2018.

The third edition of the six-team tournament will take place within the framework of the UEFA-supported IBSA Blind Football Development Project Europe, and will run from May 10 to 12.

Participant countries' accommodation, meal and local transport costs will be covered by the IBSA for the duration of the tournament.

Additionally, prior to the tournament, referees from across Europe will be invited to participate in a training course, which takes place from May 7 to 9.

The second tournament, which took place two years later in Thessaloniki, Greece, was won by Romania.

UEFA renewed their support for blind football through its "Football for all abilities" project in December.
