Canada and the US will lock horns in Toronto ©IFF

Hosts Canada and United States will battle it out at the International Floorball Federation (IFF) Americas Men's World Championship Qualifier, which gets underway tomorrow.

The two team competition is taking place at Ryerson University in Toronto.

Two matches will be played between the sides which will decide who earns the one spot available at the World Championship.

The opening match will be played tomorrow before the second on Sunday (February 11).

In the IFF rankings, the US are currently 11th with Canada 12th so there seems little between the sides.

It follows qualification events which have already taken place in Asia/Oceania and across Europe.

Czech capital Prague will host the World Championships between December 1 and 9 this year.

Finland are the defending champions.
