The 28 teams taking part in the 2018 Wheelchair Basketball World Championships found out their pool opponents following the draw in host city Hamburg.

Pool A of the men's tournament will see Africa's sole representative in the tournament, Morocco, take on Canada, India and hosts Germany whilst Paralympic champions United States will face South Korea, Poland and Paralympic bronze medallists Great Britain in Pool B.

Turkey, bronze medallists from the 2014 World Championships, are the headline name in Pool C, where they will face Japan, Brazil and Italy, who finished fourth at the 2010 tournament in Birmingham.

Reigning world champions Australia have been drawn into Pool D alongside Paralympic silver medallists Spain, Argentina and The Netherlands.

The 12 teams in the women's competition have been assigned into two pools.

Current title holders and five-time tournament champions Canada will take on Paralympic bronze medallists The Netherlands, Spain, Britain, Brazil and Australia in Pool A, while Pool B will see a repeat of the Paralympic final as gold medal winners the US take on silver medallists and World Championship hosts Germany.

Algeria, France, Argentina and China complete the Group B line-up.
