Elana Meyers Taylor, of the United States, secured her first two-woman win of the season alongside Lolo Jones as the duo set a track record on their way to an impressive triumph.

The American driver, the current world champion, and Jones clocked a record time of 1min 07.40sec in their second run as they recorded a combined 2:15.27 to take victory.

Mariama Jamanka and Annika Drazek of Germany were 0.21 seconds adrift in silver medal position.

European Champion Stephanie Schneider and her brakewoman Lisa Buckwitz rounded off the podium as they finished third.

Olympic Champion Kaillie Humphries, who struggled today and could only manage ninth alongside Phylicia George, still leads the way in the race for the overall title.

The Canadian has a total of 1,421 points, with Taylor second on 1,391.

Jamanka follows in third as she has amassed 1,346 points.
