Denmark's Cathrine Dufour added to her growing reputation as a rising star of the sport with an International Equestrian Federation Dressage World Cup win in Herning for a second successive day.

The double individual European bronze medallist rode Atterupgaards Cassidy to freestyle success today.

It continued a successful weekend for the delighted home crowd at the Jyske Bank Boxen.

Their score of 85.945 per cent proved enough for a comfortable victory over Germany's Isabell Werth, the reigning European and six-time Olympic champion.

Riding Don Johnson FRH, the defending overall World Cup champion and seven-time world champion scored 83.745 per cent.

Patrik Kittel of Sweden finished in third place on Delaunay Old.

They posted a score of 81.095 per cent.
