The Brazilian University Games in Goiás is organised by the Brazilian University Sports Confederation (CBDU) and the University Sports Federation of Goiás.

It has the support of the Federal Government, through the Ministry of Sports, and the Government of the State of Goiás, through the Department of Education, Culture and Sport.

"We brought the JUBs to Goiás in 2013 and it was wonderful," said CBDU President Luciano Cabral.

"It is a state that is involved with the sport and that has put itself to a new challenge, to receive the biggest JUBs in history."
