Sweden’s Vicky Pruim and The Netherlands’ Sharon Prins booked their place in the women’s singles final on day three of the 2017 World Darts Federation (WDF) World Cup in Japanese city Kobe.

Both players came through the knock-out rounds at the Kobe International Exhibition Hall.

In the semi-finals, Pruim beat Russia’s Anastasia Dobromyslova 6-4 and Prins defeated fellow Dutchwoman Aileen de Graaf 6-1.

The final is scheduled to take place tomorrow.

Pairs finals were also held today with Russia’s Boris Koltsov and Alexander Oreshkin winning the men’s event and compatriots Dobromyslova and Marina Kononova coming out on top in the women’s competition.

Koltsov and Oreshkin overcame Canada’s Jeff Smith and Kiley Edmunds 6-3, while Dobromyslova and Kononova beat Irish duo Robyn Byrne and Caroline Breen 6-1.

In the mixed youth pairs final, The Netherlands’ Justin van Tergouw and Layla Brussel defeated compatriots Wessel Nijman and Lerena Rietbergen 6-4.

Van Tergouw and Nijman combined to win the boys' pairs final 6-1 at the expense of Ireland's Killian Heffernan and Keane Barry.

Iran's Deniz Hashtbaran and Mahshad Avazzadeh edged Rietbergen and Brussel 6-5 in the girls' pairs final.

Also on tomorrow’s schedule are the finals in the men’s, boys’ and girls’ singles events and men's and women's team tournaments.
