The trio finished in second position in the Group A standings at the Sports Hall Tri Lilije in Laško, which was enough to advance to the semi-finals.

Awaiting them in the last four were Slovakia's Martin Ludrovsky and Jan Riapos, who finished top in Group B.

It was the Slovaks who would make it through to the final though, recording a comfortable 2-0 win over their French opponents to continue their sublime run without dropping a set so far.

The Czech Republic will be their opposition in the final as they overcame Serbia 2-1 in the second semi-final.

Great Britain were beaten finalists in the men's class 10 competition.

Kim Daybell and Ashley Facey Thompson overcame beat Spaniards Jose Manuel Ruiz Reyes, the former world and European champion, and Jorge Cardona 2-1 in their semi-final match.

The British duo, who overcame World Championships silver medallists Russia 2-1 in their quarter-final, then met Poland's Patryk Chojnowski, the world number one, and Igor Misztal in the gold medal match.

Poland, the reigning world champions, went on to win 2-0.

Turkey advanced to the men's team class four final.

Abdullah Ozturk and Nesim Turan, the defending champions, earned a 2-1 win over Poland in the last four. 

They will play France in tomorrow's final as they beat Spain 2-1 in the second semi-final.
