The company has signed up as an official supplier of the sport until at least the end of next year.

Sportissimo, a manufacturer and supplier of track and field equipment, will supply devices and accessories to the Organising Committees of World Para Athletics events.

This will include the World Championships, as well as regional events and Grand Prix meetings.

Both parties will also work together to develop new products.

"In addition to providing a pool of equipment free of charge to Local Organising Committees of World Para Athletics events, as well as at cost rental and purchase offerings, we will work with Sportissimo to develop a number of new Para-sport products.

"This is a very exciting partnership for World Para Athletics."

Sportissimo is the first official supplier of World Para Athletics and join Asics and Allianz which are both official partners.

"We are happy and very enthusiastic to start this partnership because we believe that everyone has a right to compete in sport," said Dante Acerbis, the founder of Sportissimo.

"This partnership has the purpose to improve the technical aspect for all track and field disciplines and elevate the level of Para-athletics competitions."
