The MTR Corporation has been presented with the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Trophy.

The presentation was made at the Hong Kong Athletes Career and Education Programme (HKACEP) and the Sports Legacy Scheme (SLS) Appreciation Ceremony 2017 at the Harbour Grand Hong Kong.

With the goal of helping athletes find a new career on retirement from competition, the HKACEP, under the guidance of the Hong Kong NOC, and MTR Corp. have co-organised the "Life Skills Training Programme" since 2013.

MTR runs Hong Kong's Mass Transit Railway, and is also a major property developer and landlord

SF&OC also announced that retired cycling star Wong Kam Po, the men's 2007 scratch 15 kilometres world champion, had joined the sports legacy scheme as programme development executive, starting from September 1.
