The United States Olympic Committee (USOC) has signed-up Rock-it Cargo as their official customs and freight forwarding services vendor until Tokyo 2020.

The company loaded and shipped more than 30 tonnes of cargo to support the American team prior to last year's Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro. 

Items transported included clothing, food and equipment, which volleyball courts, fencing strips and weight training tools among the gear shipped.

Rock-it Cargo is headquartered in Los Angeles, the Californian city due to be awarded the 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games next month.

They have worked with USOC on successive contracts since the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver and will begin shipping gear for Pyeongchang 2018 in November. 

As well as sports logistics, the company also operates in the music touring industry.
