Egypt and Malaysia will meet in the women's team final at the World Squash Federation Junior Championships in New Zealand after winning their respective semi-final matches today.

The Egyptians will be competing in their eighth final in a row as they aim to win a sixth consecutive title at the Queen Elizabeth Youth Centre in Tauranga.

In today's first semi-final, the African team defeated fourth seeds Hong Kong 2-0.

Amina Yousry claimed the first rubber after beating Chan Sin Yuk 11-4, 11-3, 11-7 in just 17 minutes.

World Junior Championship silver medallist Hania El Hammamy then sealed victory with an 11-4, 11-6, 11-1 victory over Lui Hiu Lam.

El Hammamy lost in the final of the singles event but is eager to put that disappointment behind her and focus solely on the winning the team event.

"I was very disappointed to lose the final of the individuals," she said.

"But I have a chance to win the team event.

"We are so happy to be in the final.

"It's the first time for all of us to be in the team event, we're excited and we want to win it."
