Novak Djokovic is through to the fourth round of Wimbledon after recording a comfortable win over Latvia's Ernests Gulbis at the All England Lawn Tennis Club today.

The Serbian three-time champion, seeded second this year, was a break of serve down at 4-2 in the first set before he won nine games in a row as he powered into a 6-4 lead.

He then took the second 6-1 as his marvellous run was halted at 5-0.

The third set was tighter with Djokovic requiring a tie-break to eventually see off the Latvian 7-6 after two hours and 12 minutes.

Switzerland's Roger Federer is also through with the seven-time winner claiming a comfortable 7-6, 6-4, 6-4 win over Germany's Mischa Zverev.

Sam Querrey of the United States is through to the last 16 after he won his delayed match against Jo-Wilfried Tsonga of France in just five minutes this morning.

The match on Court Two was postponed last night due to bad light.

However, when play resumed this morning Querrey immediately broke Tsonga to win 6-2, 3-6, 7-6, 1-6, 7-5.

Grigor Dimitrov is also through after his opponent, Israel's Dudi Sela, retired with injury.

The Bulgarian was leading 6-1, 6-1 when Sela called time on the contest.

Last year's runner-up Milos Raonic of Canada is through after he beat Spain's Albert Ramos-Vinolas 7-6, 6-4, 7-5.

France's Gael Monfils was beaten in an all-French battle by Adrian Mannarino 7-6, 4-6, 5-7, 6-3, 6-2.

Tomáš Berdych of the Czech Republic, a finalist at Wimbledon in 2010, proved too strong for Spaniard David Ferrer as he recorded a comfortable 6-3, 6-4, 6-3 win.

Austria's Dominic Thiem is also through after he recorded a 7-5, 6-4, 6-2 win over American Jared Donaldson.

Women's world number one Angelique Kerber of Germany is through to the last 16 after she avoided a scare today.

The 29-year-old lost a tight first set to Shelby Rogers of the United States 4-6 but fought back to win the second and third sets 7-6, 6-4.

Awaiting Kerber is Wimbledon 2015 runner-up and former French Open champion Garbine Muguruza of Spain.

She claimed a comfortable 6-2, 6-2 victory over Romania's Sorana Cirstea.

Poland's Agnieszka Radwanska is also through as she came back from a set down to defeat Switzerland's Timea Bacsinszky.

The ninth seed, a runner-up in 2012, won 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.

She will now play Russian seventh seed Svetlana Kuznetsova, who eased to a 6-4, 6-0 victory over Slovenia's Polona Hercog.

Coco Vandeweghe of the United States has also made it through to the second week of action.

The American defeated compatriot Alison Riske 6-2, 6-4.
