The World Baseball Softball Confederation (WBSC) has unveiled promotional videos for both the Under-12 and Under-18 Baseball World Cups.

The newly released videos have already been viewed over 1.4 million times across the WBSC’s official channels.

Each video showcases action from baseball’s best players in their respective age-groups.

The under-18 teaser features past participants and first round draft picks from the Chinese Professional Baseball League, Korea Baseball Organisation, Major League Baseball and Nippon Professional Baseball.

Mickey Moniak of the United States, who was the first player selected in the 2016 Major League Baseball draft, Canada's Josh Naylor and Japan's Shohei Ohtani all feature.

The US are the defending champions in both competitions.

Action in the under-18 event will take place between September 1 and 10 in Thunder Bay in Canada.

The 12 qualified countries have been drawn into two groups of six and will begin the tournament with a round-robin, which will include a match between defending champions the United States and world number one Japan.

The under-12 video can be found here.

Due to be held between July 28 and August 6 in Tainan in Taiwan, the hosts and Under-12 World Cup 2015 silver medallists will lock horns with current world number one ranked side Japan in Group A.

Mexico, Czech Republic, Brazil and South Africa complete the set.

Two-time defending under-12 world champions United States will compete in Group B.

Third seeds South Korea are expected to form their primary opposition along with 2015 bronze medallists Nicaragua, and Australia, Panama and Germany.

The top three finishers from each group will continue in the Super Round group stage before a final takes place at the Tainan Municipal Baseball Stadium.
