China claimed two more gold medals on the final day of action at the International Swimming Federation (FINA) Diving Grand Prix in Canadian city Gatineau, taking their overall tally to six.

He Chao won the men's three metres springboard crown with a score of 502.65 points, while Chen Hui Ling and Jian Dongjin combined to take top honours in the women's three metres synchronised class with 302.70.

New Zealand's Liam Stone was He's closest challenger with 457.40 points, followed by Japan's Sho Sakai with 453.45.

Silver medallists in the women's three metres synchronised were home favourites Melissa Citrini-Beaulieu and Jennifer Abel with 291.00 points, exactly 12 more than third-placed Anabelle Smith and Georgia Sheehan of Australia.

China did not have everything their own way today with Zhang Minjie narrowly losing out to Japan's Nana Sasaki in the battle for the women's 10m platform gold medal.

Sasaki posted a score of 338.70 points to beat Zhang by just 0.40 and fellow Japanese Minami Itahashi by a further 5.50.

Great Britain's Matthew Dixon and Noah Williams also tasted victory today in the men's 10m platform synchronised competition with 406.32 points.

France's Alexis Jandard and Lois Szymczak were second with 348.84 points, while the United States' Jordan Windle and Ryan Hawkins came third with 335.67.

The one other event, the mixed three metres synchronised, was won by hosts Canada thanks to a score of 296.31 points for Francois Imbeau-Dulac and Abel.

Australia's Matthew Carter and Sheehan occupied the runners-up spot with 288.90 points, while New Zealand's Stone and Elizabeth Cui completed the top three with 288.00.

The next meet of the 2017 FINA Grand Prix season is due to be held in Puerto Rico's capital San Juan from May 4 to 7.
