International Women's Day is celebrated every year, commemorating the movement for women's rights.

This year's theme focused on the topic of "Women in the Changing World of Work: Planet 50-50 by 2030".

Berraf officially opened the Olympic and Sports Museum in Algeria's capital last month.

He did so in the presence of a number of other top ranking officials from African sport, including Ivory Coast's Lassana Palenfo, President of the Association of African National Olympic Committees and an honorary member of the International Olympic Committee.
