A series of workshops will take place tomorrow and Friday (March 10) to help all summer Paralympic sport International Federations (IFs) build links with the Agitos Foundation.

The event in Bonn, Germany, is being supported by UK Sport and will be focused on sport technical education and competition models as attention starts to look towards Tokyo 2020.

Representatives from the Brazilian and Rwandan Paralympic Committees are also set to speak at the workshops about their work with the Foundation.

IFs will also get to learn about opportunities to work with the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the Foundation and its partners such as Toyota.

Set up in 2012, the Agitos Foundation aims to develop Para-sport so that it can help improve lives around the world.

"With this workshop, the Agitos Foundation continues to support Para-sport development globally," said IPC chief executive Xavier Gonzalez.

"Following the rapid growth of the Paralympic Movement around the world in the last few years, it is a good time to gather IFs together to share best practice and provide support to each other on the evolution of their sports.

"We believe this will benefit all Para-athletes in their build-up to Tokyo 2020."
