Hosts New Zealand and defending champions Egypt are among 14 countries confirmed to compete in July's World Squash Federation Women's World Junior Team Championship in Tauranga.

New Zealand are one of just six countries to have competed in all 16 editions of the showpiece junior women's event since it was first held in 1985.

Australia, the first champions, have also featured on every occasion along with England, Germany, New Zealand and United States.

Seven-time winners and 2015 gold medallists Egypt first competed in 1993.

Canada, France, Hong Kong, India, Ireland, South Korea, Malaysia and South Africa are also due to participate.

Competition is due to take place at the Devoy Squash & Fitness Centre from July 19 to 24.

The event will take place alongside the Men’s & Women’s World Junior Individual Championships, which will be held from July 25 to 29.

Entries for that event are not due to close until June 1.
