Australian star Britt Cox continued her superb form with victory at today's International Ski Federation (FIS) Moguls World Cup event in Tazawako.

The 22-year-old, a bronze medallist at the 2015 World Championships in Kreischberg, scored 78.57 to comfortably win at the Japanese resort.

Perrine Laffont of France placed second with 78.36.

Andi Naude of Canada secured the final place on the podium with 76.37.

The result means Cox continues a winning streak after also triumphing at the Pyeongchang 2018 test event in Phoenix Park last week.

She now lies on 705 points in the overall standings with just one event remaining.

Laffont lies second on 461.

He scored 89.99 points to beat team-mate Philippe Marquis, with 86.37.
