Sarah Hoefflin led a Swiss 1-2-3 in qualification at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Freestyle Skiing Big Air World Cup in Quebec City.

The 26-year-old recorded a score of 93.40 to top the pile at the Canadian venue.

Her compatriot Mathilde Gremaud came second with a tally of 91.80 as Giulia Tanno completed the European country's dominance, scoring 90.40 for third.

Only the top six qualifed for the final, with France's Tess Ledeux the best non-Swiss skier with a tally of 87.00.

Also qualified is Silvia Bertagna, after the Italian managed 81.20, and Britain's Isabel Atkin who finished on 80.20.

Atkin's score meant that her team-mate Katie Summerhayes only finished seventh on 79.60 and as such has not made the final.

In the men's competition, the top two qualifiers came from Sweden as a ten-man final was formed from two heats.

Henrik Harlaut top-scored with 94.00 as fellow countryman Jesper Tjader qualified second on 93.00.

France's Antoine Adeliise and Canada's Teal Harl both qualified strongly, registering 91.00 points each.

Both finals will take place tomorrow.
