Kenya's Elijah Manangoi led a Kenyan 1-2-3 in the men's 1,500 metres at the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) World Indoor Tour leg in German city Düsseldorf.

The 24-year-old, who won an outdoor World Championship silver medal over the distance in Beijing in 2015, came home in 3min 37.62sec to win at the Arena-Sportpark.

Bethwell Birgen was second in 3:37.81 as Silas Kiplagat completed the Kenyan clean sweep in 3:40.74.

Elsewhere, there was Cuban victory in the men's 60m at the second leg of the Indoor Tour season, as Yunier Perez triumphed in 6.56sec.

The women's sprint title was won by Ukraine's Olesya Povkh in 7.16sec.

In hurdles competition, Spain's Orlando Ortega took the men's 60m crown in a time of 7.51sec.

The women's race saw a home winner as Germany's Cindy Roleder was timed at 7.95sec to triumph.

In field action, Sandi Morris of the United States cleared 4.72m to win the women's pole vault.

Patricia Mamona lept 14.11m to win the women's triple jump.
