Canada's moguls ace Mikael Kingsbury will resume battle with Australia's Matt Graham when the International Ski Federation (FIS) Moguls World Cup continues in Deer Valley tomorrow.

The pair are the top two in the overall men's standings heading into the competition in Utah - where Winter Olympic events took place at Salt Lake City 2002.

Kingsbury has won two of the four World Cup competitions held so far but Graham topped the pile last time out on Kingsbury's home snow in Canada.

It means the Canadian has 320 points on top of the pile with Graham second on 246.

Competition will begin with a singles moguls event tomorrow before the first dual moguls competition of the season on February 4.

Kingsbury, who is hoping to become the overall freestyle World Cup champion for the sixth time in a row, has had mixed fortunes in Deer Valley.

He won both the singles and dual titles in 2015 but was second and fifth last year.

In the women's competition, Australia's Britteny Cox won for the third time in four World Cup events in Calgary and has an 84 point overall lead over Canada's reigning Olympic gold medallist Justine Dufour-Lapointe.

Cox's best overall finish for a season is 14th but she now looks set to become the first Australian moguls champion since Dale Begg-Smith in 2008.

In an action packed few days of freestyle skiing, Deer Valley will also host the next legs of the FIS Aerials World Cup circuit, beginning on Friday (February 3).

Anton Kushnir of Belarus and Australia's Danielle Scott lead the way in the respective men's and women's standings.

Elsewhere, FIS Snowboard Cross World Cup action will begin in Bankso in Bulgaria tomorrow.
