Kamil Stoch continued his fantastic winning streak in the International Ski Federation (FIS) Ski Jumping World Cup as he topped the podium with his Polish colleagues in the team event in Willingen.

The current individual World Cup leader was joined by Maciej Kot, Piotr Zyla and Dawid Kubacki as they completed a fine performance on the German hill today.

They combined to score 931.5 points, which put them 12.3 ahead of Austria while the host nation settled for third on 910.7 in front of a sell-out 21,000 crowd.

Tomorrow, the focus switches back to solo competition.

In Rasnov, Romania, Norway’s Maren Lundby come out on top in the first of two competitions this weekend.

She jumped 97 metres and 99m to finish with a score of 259.

This helped her beat current World Cup leader Sara Takanashi after the Japanese athlete scored 249.8 with jumps of 93m and 98m.

Her compatriot Yuki Ito, who had won three of the previous four World Cup contests, came third as jumps of 91m and 93.5m gave her a tally of 238.5.

The result means the trio stay in the top three on the overall leaderboard, with Takanashi on 895 points, Ito on 792 and Lundby 617.

Action continues tomorrow with another competition on the hill.
