Cene Prevc made it through the qualification round today at the latest International Ski Federation (FIS) Ski Jumping World Cup leg in Engelberg, Switzerland.

The Slovenian finished 25th overall with a score of 127.3 points, meaning he will now join his brothers Domen and Peter for the main competition tomorrow.

By all appearing in the same meeting, the trio had already made history as no World Cup event has ever seen three brothers take part, but now they will all jump off against each other.

Youngest brother Domen, 17, has wowed the competition so far this season as he sits in first place in the rankings while last season, Peter, the eldest sibling at 24, claimed the World Cup crown, but has struggled to hit the same heights so far in 2016-17.

Leading the qualifying round was Austria’s Michael Hayboeck, who jumped 140 metres on his way to scoring 151.7.

His leap was a full 6.5m further than anyone else who took to the hill, with Poland’s Dawid Kubacki coming second after recording a jump 133.5m.

Completing the top three in qualification was Evgeniy Klimov of Russia, who jumped 132m.
