Management solution firm Toppan Forms has signed on as an official sponsor of the Sapporo 2017 Asian Winter Games.
The company have been attributed to the Personal Information Management and Equipment Management Service category.
They are the 18th company to agree a deal with the Organising Committee for the eighth edition of the event, which takes place between February 19 and 26 next year.
Sapporo 2017 have two gold partners - Nippon Telegraph and Telephone East Corporation and mobile phone operator NTT Docomo.
Agreements have also been signed with watch manufacturers Seiko and security firm Alsok, who are the official partners of the 2017 Asian Winter Games.
Sapporo 2017 claim the announcement will help them deliver a successful Asian Winter Games in February.
It came after the Organising Committee held a protocol meeting, which focused on topics such as the accommodation and transportation for VIP guests, seating arrangement for the Opening Ceremony and support from the VIP’s arrival at the airport to their departure.
During the meeting, the delegation of officials also inspected the Sapporo Dome venue, the home of baseball team Hokkaido Nippon Ham Fighters and football club Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo which is due to be used for the Sapporo 2017 Opening Ceremony.
They were given the opportunity to check the seating arrangement and other logistical aspects for the Ceremony.
The Sapporo Dome is also due to be used at the Tokyo 2020 Olympics and staged matches at the 2002 FIFA World Cup in South Korea and Japan.
“We had a very meaningful meeting,” OIympic Council of Asia (OCA) protocol director Abdulla Al-Mulla said.
“The impression on the protocol becomes the first impression of the country.
“OCA will try best to help the Organising Committee to ensure the smooth operation of the Games.”
