The Professional Squash Association (PSA) has renewed broadcasting partnerships with a trio of companies.

The governing body has signed deals with BT Sport in the United Kingdom as well as Fox Australia and Sky New Zealand.

It means all semi-finals and finals from televised PSA World Tour tournaments, including both the men's and women's World Championships and World Series competitions, will be beamed across the three countries on a "multi-year basis".

The extended agreements were reached in conjunction with Broadreach Media and "further strengthen the sport’s position within the global TV and digital streaming market", according to the PSA.

"During the past two years we have worked continuously to improve our product and make televised squash as dynamic, appealing and viewer friendly as possible," said PSA chief executive Alex Gough.

"As a result the sport is now delivering top class sporting action and drama at every turn and it is testament to the hard work of everyone involved that our broadcast partnerships continue to grow and expand.

"But we are committed to improving further and look forward to working with all our broadcast partnerships over the coming years as we continue on that journey."

The announcement comes after the PSA revealed a long-term partnership with DAZN, a new live sports streaming service in Japan, last week.

It was claimed that this link-up will "transform squash's visibility and profile across Japan".

The PSA also recently signed a deal with Eleven Sports Network, which will see squash broadcast in both Singapore and Taiwan.

In Europe, a deal is in place with continental broadcaster Eurosport.
