Sports equipment company Salming has launched a range of clothing to mark Women's Squash Week.

The gear is women's specific and has been branded by governing body the Professional Squash Association (PSA).

All items will soon be available to buy with top players such as England's world number nine Alison Waters already wearing the clothing on the PSA World Tour circuit.

Egypt's Kanzy El Defrawy, the world number 36, and Canada's world number 47 Hollie Naughton, are others to use the clothing.

Women's squash week, which seeks to highlight the female game, began on September 16 and will conclude on Sunday (September 25).

Female players around the world have now been invited to send in pictures of them playing on court, using the hashtag #WomenInSquash, to the PSA’s Twitter, Facebook and Instagram channels.

All that do will have the chance to receive some selected items for free.

"We are pleased to be able to recognise Women's Squash Week by launching a new women's dedicated range of clothing in partnership with the PSA," said Salming's global brand manager Adrian Grant.

"Women's squash has progressed exponentially over the course of the past few years, and we are committed to supporting the sport's push towards achieving parity across the men's and women's games, and are pleased to be able to offer our colourful and exciting range to female players all over the world."
