Fernando Claro has been re-elected as President of the European Roller Sports Confederation at an Elective General Assembly in Oliverira de Azemeis.

The Portuguese has served in the position since 2005 and was also successfully re-elected in 2008 and 2012.

He is also President of the Portuguese Roller Sports Federation and is a vice-president of the International Roller Sports Federation (FIRS).

"The FIRS President Sabatino Aracu, together with the FIRS Executive Board, express the warmest congratulations and the best wishes of good work," the world body said in a message posted on their website.

"We are sure that the close cooperation of the past years will continue in the next quadrennium."

Ignacio Gonzalez Pereira of Spain, Martin van Lieshout of The Netherlands and Fernando Leandro Naroli of Italy remain the organisation's respective first, second and third vice-presidents.

Only 10 of the 32 CERS member federations reportedly attended the meeting in the Portuguese town, however.
