Serbia, Canada and Greece each made it two wins from two matches in their respective groups at the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) Olympic Qualifying Tournaments today.

Group action continued simultaneously in Manila, Belgrade and Turin.

Hosts Serbia earned a comfortable 83-60 win over Angola in Belgrade, led by 17 points from Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic.

Czech Republic won 87–71 over Japan to join Latvia in progressing from Group B.

Puerto Rico also made it through, having played their final match yesterday.

Greece beat Mexico 86-70 in a game to decide first place in Group A in Turin.

Mexico are now due to play hosts Italy, while Greece will be up against Croatia, who won 72–52 over Tunisia.

Canada overcame a fourth quarter blip to win 58-55 over Senegal in the Philippines capital.

Senegal are scheduled to meet Turkey to decide second place tomorrow.

New Zealand kept their hopes alive with a battling 89-80 win over the host nation Philippines in the other match.

Group action is set to conclude in Manila tomorrow on a rest day in the two European cities.

The winners of each event will fill the three remaining places in the basketball tournament at Rio 2016.
