The line-ups have been confirmed for the Professional Squash Association (PSA) Dubai World Series Finals.

The event is the season-ending climax to both the men’s and women’s PSA World Series Tours, and features only the top eight players in the rankings.

Players compete for "Road To Dubai" ranking points at each PSA World Series Tournament with the action in Dubai due to take place between May 24 and 28 in front of the world's tallest building - the Burj Khalifa.

The men's draw is headed by current world number one Mohamed Elshorbagy, after the Egyptian won six out of the seven World Series crowns.

Australian Cameron Pilley sealed the final qualification spot at the El Gouna International, with fellow debutantes Miguel Angel Rodriguez and Mathieu Castagnet also booking their spots at the tournament.

England's three-time world champion Nick Matthew has also qualified, alongside current world champion Gregory Gaultier of France.

Germany's Simon Rösner and Egyptian Omar Mosaad complete the field.

The top two from each group will reach the semi-finals.

In the women's competition, newly crowned world champion Nour El Sherbini is only ranked second with the Egyptian placed behind the player she beat in the world final - England's Laura Massaro.

Raneem El Welily, Nouran Gohar and Onneya Abdel Kawy will also represent Egypt while eight-time world champion Nicol David of Malaysia will be another strong presence.

France's Camille Serme and Amanda Sobhy - who will be the first American born player ever to compete in the World Series Finals - complete the line-up.

Massaro, David, Sobhy and Gohar will play in Group A, with El Sherbini, El Welily, Kawy and Serme drawn in Group B.
