Chinese company 361° will supply the IPC during Rio 2016 ©361°

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) has signed a deal with Chinese company 361° - which will see the sportswear firm supply uniforms and products for Rio 2016.

Members of the IPC's Governing Board, VIPs and other members of staff will be among those to be kitted out by the firm at the Paralympics in the Brazilian city in September.

As part of the deal, 361° has been appointed as the IPC's exclusive official apparel provider until December 31 of this year.

The agreement was welcomed by Alex Schaefer, the IPC’s director of commercial and marketing.

"We are delighted to have reached an agreement with such a world renowned and respected sportswear company as 361° to supply all our apparel for the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games," he said. 

“With 361° also supplying all Rio 2016 Games technical staff and volunteers with uniforms, we believe IPC staff will certainly stand out from the crowd in what they wear during September’s Paralympic Games.”

The company also has deals to supply apparel to the Chinese and Greek teams at Rio 2016. 

The firm, a famous name in China, were a sponsor at the 2010 Guangzhou Asian Games, the 2014 Incheon Asian Games, the 2011 World University Games and the 2014 Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing.
