Sweden’s Hanna Oeberg clinched her second gold medal at the International Biathlon Union (IBU) Junior World Championships as she reigned supreme in the women’s junior 10 kilometres pursuit race in Cheile Grădiştei, Romania today.

Oeberg, winner of the 7.5km sprint event, clocked 33min 16.8sec to finish ahead of Switzerland’s Lena Haecki, who was able to earn silver despite amassing six penalties during her run.

France's Chloe Chevalier sealed bronze, 41.9 seconds adrift of the Swedish competitor’s time.

"I couldn't believe that I crossed the finish line in first again," Oeberg said.

"I am very happy, but also I am very tired, extremely tired.

"Lena was crazy on the skis today, so I knew I had to manage a good shooting to get a win.

"At the shooting range I wasn't nervous, as yesterday, and I felt pretty confident despite the wind."
