Serbia booked their place in the next stage of EuroBasket 2015 as their 93-64 demolition of Iceland kept their 100 per cent start to the tournament intact.

Nemanja Nedovic was superb in attack for the victors while Ognjen Kuzmic, playing for his country for only the third time, also starred in the comprehensive win.

It means Serbia top Group B, which is being played in Berlin, and with two games to go they are safely into the last 16 as four countries from the six team groups will advance.

Elsewhere in the German capital, the hosts were beaten 85-70 by Turkey and have work to do as they now sit out of the qualification spots in fifth with one victory from three games so far.

Turkey, meanwhile, are third, while Italy are well placed in second thanks to a 105-98 win over fourth placed Spain.

There was also Group C action today with Greece joining Serbia in making it three wins out of three in the Croatian capital Zagreb.

They beat bottom side Georgia 79-68 to stay top but with only two points separating first and fifth must wait until their qualification is confirmed.

Hosts Croatia beat fourth-placed Macedonia 73-55 to sit second while Slovenia are third after a 81-74 win over fifth placed The Netherlands.

EuroBasket is due to continue tomorrow with Group A and Group D games which are being played in Montpellier and Riga respectively.

Group A sees hosts and leaders France, who have already qualified, play winless Russia while Bosnia play Finland and Poland meet Israel.

In Group D, leaders Czech Republic play Belgium, Ukraine meet Latvia and Estonia face Lithuania.
