The schedule for next month's SPORTELMonaco convention at the Grimaldi Forum in Monte Carlo has been released.

The event, due to be held from October 12 until 15 and which attracts top businessmen as well as governing bodies and media organisations, will begin on the first morning with a demonstration from the International Judo Federation (IJF).

A SPORTEL and TV Sports Markets expert panel discussion, entitled “winning the global football rights game”, will then be held, before another demonstration by the IJF.

One of the highlights of the convention, the inaugural TV Sports Awards, held in support of children’s charity Play for Change, will take place on the first evening.

The awards, recognising excellence within the sports media industry, will be staged at the Yacht Club de Monaco and will be sponsored by Eurosport.

Prizes will be given out in five categories - Best Sports Broadcaster, Best Live Event Coverage, Best Digital Project, Best TV Rights Deal and Media Executive of the Year - and will be voted on by those who attend the SPORTEL conference.

The 2015 SPORTEL International Symposium is scheduled for the following day, before three expert panel discussions are staged.

The SPORTEL Awards Show, featuring the Golden Podium Competition and the Sports Book Prize, then come to the fore in the evening.
